BARK has their very own stall every Friday (weather permitting) in Market Square Retford. Here volunteer Rank and helpers sell all manner of items, new and second hand, donated to the rescue and this raises incredibly valuable funds to keep BARK running. There are lots of bargains to be had! Daz also regularly attends car boot sales at Torksey etc. to do the same. BARK also run special stalls and a fun Dog Show every year at Retford's Charter Day and Elaine attends as many local Christmas Markets as she can to fundraise. At Christmas the rescue's wonderful supporters make Christmas gift boxes for the dogs and cats at BARK- filling shoe boxes with toys, treats and food. Every year the number of boxes donated increases beyond our wildest expectations. On Christmas morning the sound of squeaking toys as the dogs open their boxes can be heard in nearby villages!! Our shop is based on Eldon Street, next to the Crusty Cob, in Tuxford.
Bank Holiday Monday, 6th May is Charter Day.
